Axed Arsenal scout Gilles Grimandi is a target for Nice.

Grimandi was pushed out of the Gunners earlier this season as part of the club's management restructure.

And Nice-Matin says he is now in talks with Nice about a move to the French club, potentially as sports director.

At OGCN, Grimandi would be reunited with former Arsenal teammate Patrick Vieira, now head coach of the Ligue 1 outfit.

Nice are currently trying to recover after former president Jean-Pierre Rivère and GM Julien Fournier both dramatically quit the club last week.
