Former Arsenal midfielder Santi Cazorla has joined Villarreal for preseason.
His first stint at the club came between 2003 and 2006, before a one-year spell with Recreativo Huelva interrupted his time there, only for him to return in 2007.
Injury plagued his time in London and, despite only leaving Arsenal this summer, his last game for the Gunners came in October 2016 during a 6-0 demolition of Ludogorets in the Champions League.
Multiple operations later, Cazorla is back in action at the place he felt most at home, reports Marca.
He trained with Alaves youth players earlier in the year and will now spend pre-season with Villarreal.
