Former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong was sent off on his debut for Barnsley in defeat to Sheffield Wednesday.

The Ghanaian received two yellow cards inside half an hour and was correctly sent off by referee Andre Marriner.

A foul on Jose Semedo brought a talking-to that didn't stop him diving in on Chris Maguire a minute later.

That brought his first yellow and when he lunged in needlessly on the same player again his debut was over.
