Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger says a return to football doesn't have to involve coaching.

Wenger would seemingly be open to a director of football role, although he did not like the hierarchy at Arsenal.

“Well, it can be in different ways," Wenger said on how he can offer his services.

“It can be straight away as responsible for the result of the next game.

“It can be as well in managing a club from a little bit behind the manager.

“It can be as well as a technical responsibility in world football, with an international company. It can be in different ways."
