Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has confirmed he's out of the running for the Bayern Munich job.

Wenger confirmed the German giants made an approach but made certain to clarify he is not a candidate for the job.

Appearing on BeIN Sport on Sunday, Wenger put an end to the rumours.

"First of all I was never a candidate," he said.

"I had been approached but I am not in the running for the job.

"I am not a candidate for the job.

"That is clear and definite."
