Former Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is backing Thierry Henry over a proposed move to New York Red Bulls.
Henry lasted only three months at AS Monaco this season before being sacked and is now being linked with a return to his former MLS team.
Wenger insisted: "For me, it's too soon to say that he's a failure.
"He will bounce elsewhere. He will make the small path that Patrick (Vieira) has made."
Vieira coached at New York City FC for two seasons before landing the Nice job.
