Former Ajax striker Kenneth Perez is critical of Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino over his tactics last week.
Ajax stunned Spurs 1-0 in London for the first-leg of their Champions League semifinal.
And Perez says Tottenham made a mistake with a 5-3-2 system.
"It was incomprehensible how Tottenham started. Especially because they were left with only those three defenders against Dusan Tadic. Even Jan Vertonghen, who was trained at Ajax, really refused to cover," he told AD.
"Ajax is very good, but not always, not under all circumstances. If Tottenham is looking for the physical fight, and they will certainly do so in the opening phase, they could get a goal. Tottenham has nothing to lose anymore, Ajax does."
