Sydney FC defender Scott Jamieson admits he has so far enjoyed the shift from Adelaide United.
The 21-year old left-back joined the reigning champions during the off-season after 49 games with the Reds and said he is feeling comfortable in his new surroundings.
"Since making the switch from Adelaide I haven't looked back and coming into the team and working under fantastic coaches and a very talented bunch of players has been really good for me," he said. "I am just trying to do my bit for the team. Hopefully this week we can turn it around."
Jamieson did his bit for the team last week, managing to score his first-ever A-League goal for the Sky Blues in Saturday night's 2-1 loss to North Queensland Fury but finished the match feeling a touch hollow after not getting the points when they were expected to.
"It was fantastic," Jamieson added. "But in the circumstances, being 1-nil down and in the end losing left an empty feeling but I am really happy that the monkey is off the back and I never thought I would score a goal with my head let alone it being my first goal. I am happy."
