Former AC Milan striker Giuseppe Incocciati has questioned their move for CSKA Moscow attacker Keisuke Honda.
The Japan international is expected to sign for Milan as a free agent when his CSKA deal expires in December.
Incocciati told TMW: "Frankly, I do not think that Honda can make a difference. He's a good player, but not a playmaker who can change the fortunes of a team.
"During a time of reviewing the spending, however, we must adapt and the Japanese was an opportunity."
