Former AC Milan midfielder Kaka admits moving to MLS has always been in his career plan.
Kaka joined expansion club Orlando City this week.
"I've always wanted to play in the USA," he told reporters before flying back to Brazil to resume his holiday.
"The first contact dates back to 2012, when [President] Flavio Augusto told me I could have the option to buy a franchise [like David Beckham].
"Now the dream is a reality. The MLS is growing so much,
"I want to show American fans that football can be beautiful.
"Two years ago I had the opportunity to go to New York, but I'm delighted I chose Orlando. My family is also happy with this choice."
