Former AC Milan medical chief Daniele Tognaccini admits he's turned down a move to Chelsea.

Tognaccini was behind the club's MilanLab system, which he developed 20 years ago.

“My future? Sarri is a real number maniac. He wanted me at Chelsea, but I preferred to slow things down.

Tognaccini was then asked whether the lab could be held accountable for Alexandre Pato's crippling injury problems.

“I don't think Milan Lab made any mistakes with him," he concluded.
