Former AC Milan defender Dario Bonetti branded defeat to Udinese as "embarrassing".

Bonetti was unimpressed by Milan's players on the day.

He told TMW: "Milan was indeed a disappointment.

"I must say that it was embarrassing for the attitude. In football you don't only play nice, you need toughness and determination. From this point of view the team has to grow a lot, without forgetting that in any case last year the place in Europe was conquered just through the character and the stubbornness.

"I would also worry about the character aspect. There is not only the theoretical question, the motivations and aggression count."
