Former AC Milan coach Arrigo Sacchi insists Charles de Ketelaere isn't to blame for their form slump.
The Rossonero are reeling after a home humiliation by Sassuolo on Sunday.
Sacchi told La Gazzetta dello Sport, "It's difficult to get into the mechanisms of a team at a time when the team is experiencing some difficulties.
"Sure, De Ketelaere has good qualities, but it's his first experience in Italy, we have to give him time to understand the new reality.
"But I repeat, it's not just one player who can solve the problem: it's Milan who all together must return to being a team.
"Last year, despite having spent less than Inter, Juve and Roma, they put them all behind. A masterpiece. Today (Stefano) Pioli's boys seem careless."
