Former AC Milan chief Adriano Galliani says he couldn't consider joining a rival club.
Galliani gave three decades of service to Milan, prior to Silvio Berlusconi selling the Rossoneri to Li Yonghong's consortium last year.
“For romantic reasons, I said 'no' to all the European teams that wanted me," he told Tuttosport.
Instead, the 73-year-old has turned to politics, becoming Senator of Berlusconi's Forza Italia party ahead of next month's general election.
