Evra and Moyes patched up rift before Man Utd sacking

Claims of Patrice Evra and David Moyes being at odds while together at Manchester United have been questioned after their reunion at West Ham.

The Mirror says the Scot was the French left-back's manager during his ill-fated ten-month spell at Old Trafford — and the pair have now been re-united at West Ham.

There had been reports the two fell out at while working together, but Evra was, in fact, one of the first people to console Moyes.

The pair famously had a bust-up at an airport when the Frenchman ate a bacon sandwich against his manager's wishes, but that incident was not enough to prevent the reunion.

Evra, 36, left United to join Juventus the summer after Moyes was replaced by Louis van Gaal, and helped the Italian giants reach the Champions League final in his first season.
