Everton youngster Lewis Dobbin: I'll always remember this goal

Everton youngster Lewis Dobbin stated that he'll remember his first goal in senior football forever.

The 19-year-old is presently spending a period on loan with Derby County in League One.

Dobbin netted his first senior goal against Mansfield Town in the Papa John's Trophy on Tuesday.

Speaking after the match, per the Liverpool Echo, Dobbin said: "It's an amazing feeling when you get your first goal, especially for this club.

“It's very special and I think it's one I will remember for the rest of my life. I'm happy it finally clicked and hopefully this is the start now and I can keep going and get some more.

"I think they (Mansfield) had quite a high line, so I just made eye contact with Haydon (Roberts). He's played it in behind them and once I'm one-v-one with the defender I back myself against most players."
