Everton wing-back Lucas Digne is delighted to be getting on the scoresheet this season via his free-kicks.

Digne admits he never had the chance to prove his dead ball quality while with Barcelona.

He told Goal: "I never took a free kick in my two seasons in Barcelona, so I like to shoot them now, and of course, it was a pleasure to score two last month.

"When you have (Leo) Messi on the field, it's natural that no one else is close to the ball on a free-kick.

"For me, Messi is undeniably the best player in the world. The best I played with and the best I saw."
