Everton youngster Dan Gosling has won a first England U21 call.

Gosling has capped a dream week by getting his first England under-21 call-up.

The versatile 19-year-old scored the winner for David Moyes's men against West Ham on Sunday and was then summoned by Stuart Pearce for the Portugal clash at Wembley this weekend.

Gosling has been a regular in the England set-up at youth level but his string of performances for Moyes' team - in various roles - has caught the eye of Pearce who may give him his debut on Saturday.
