Everton, West Ham keen as Crystal Palace whizkid Jesurun Rak-Sakyi targets Germany move

Crystal Palace face losing whizkid Jesurun Rak-Sakyi.

The Daily Mail says Rak-Sakyi looks set to sign for either Borussia Monchengladbach or Schalke after turning down the offer of a professional contract.

The 18-year-old, a left-footed attacking midfielder who also plays on the wing, has caught the attention of scouts after a string of impressive performances at U18 and U23 level.

Englishman Rak-Sakyi, who also qualifies for Ghana, joined Palace from Chelsea's academy and has been lauded by coaching staff for his pace, technical ability, tactical awareness and eye for goal.

Although there is strong interest from clubs in the UK with the likes of Celtic, West Ham and Everton monitoring the situation, Germany seems his next destination as his representatives are understood to have already held 'very positive talks' with the interested clubs.
