Everton boss David Moyes remains interested in Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor.
The People says Moyes watched Taylor at the Everton manager's home town of Preston last Monday night.
A Toon source said, however: "Mike is aware of all this but he is just not interested in selling any of the club's bright young players."
