Everton have identified their replacement for Marco Silva - Vitor Pereira.

The 51-year-old Portuguese is being linked with the vacant Toffees job after Silva lost his job yesterday.

Sky Sports says the current Shanghai SIPG boss is interesting the Everton hierarchy.

The Portuguese has managed Fenerbahce and Olympiacos, while he also took charge of Porto at one point.

Pereira was among the candidates to replace David Moyes in 2013, but the job went to Roberto Martinez.

Duncan Ferguson will be in charge of the team until Everton can appoint a permanent successor to Silva.
