Marco Silva's side lost 4-3 on penalties to the Kenyan minnows.
Following the game veteran full-back Baines spoke of the experience he and Everton's squad enjoyed while in Africa.
"It was good, a good experience," he told the Liverpool Echo. "We've come out here and do what we were supposed to do which was more about fulfilling our obligations. The game at the end of a long week was a nice way to round it off.
"I enjoyed the short time we had out here. It was a good experience for the younger players to come out and good for the Kenyan lads as well. I'm sure that will be something that will stay with them.
"The game was a fun type of game and that's what it was supposed to be."
