Everton U23 coach David Unsworth is expecting a raft of senior players to depart on-loan in the coming weeks.
The Liverpool Echo says Unsworth expects five players to leave on loan before the end of the current transfer window.
Callum Connolly, Beni Baningime, Dennis Adeniran, Nathan Broadhead and Josh Bowler all started the 3-0 victory over Leicester City at Southport on Monday with Connolly and Bowler on the scoresheet alongside Ellis Simms.
A host of Football League scouts attended the game including representatives from Plymouth Argyle, Fleetwood Town and Tranmere Rovers with Unsworth insisting older players are selected for u-23 action to provide a 'showcase' for their talents.
