Everton, Tottenham express interest in Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla

Everton and Tottenham have expressed interest in Hellas Verona defender Marash Kumbulla.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Verona face a battle to keep hold of Kumbulla this summer.

Spurs see the Albania international as a replacement for Bosman prospect Jan Vertonghen, while Everton chief Marcel Brands is in the market for a new centre-half.

For his part, Kumbulla favours a move to Inter Milan.

However, Everton and Spurs' interest has raised his valuation to €30m - which could be too rich for Inter.
