Everton are closing in on their next manager and could have an appointment sealed within a day.
Former Burnley boss Sean Dyche is the man Everton will turn to in the hopes of saving their season.
Dyche is the odds on favorite with bookmakers to take the job, while sources such as the Liverpool Echo suggest the deal is all but done.
Everton had attempted to persuade ex-Leeds United coach Marcelo Bielsa to take the job, but he was not interested.
Dyche will step in for Frank Lampard, who was sacked earlier this week after a winless run of over 10 games.
The ex-Burnley man would get to work with old players Dwight McNeil, James Tarkowski and Michael Keane.
