Everton will reportedly return with an improved bid for Swansea City's Ashley Williams.

The Toffees were rebuffed in their attempts to sign the Swansea captain for £10million but are determined to lure him to Goodison Park and will now lodge a £12m proposal.

Swansea have no intention of selling Williams before the new Premier League season but the Welsh outfit is aware that the 31-year-old is curious to hold talks with Ronald Koeman, according to the Daily Mail.

Williams has been with the Swans since 2008 but is reportedly happy to speak with the Toffees regarding a possible move away from the Liberty Stadium.
