Everton teenage striker Tom Cannon has been likened to Leicester City star Jamie Vardy.
Cannon scored 16 goals in 16 appearances for Everton this season.
The Aintree-born striker, 17, enjoyed a breakout campaign at under-18 level and formed a lethal attacking threat with Lewis Dobbin, who himself netted 11 times before the term was cut-short due to coronavirus.
The Liverpool Echo says he scored a variety of efforts and due to his willingness to run in behind, play on the shoulder of defenders and work between the lines, comparisons to Leicester City forward Vardy have been drawn.
