Everton target Ramirez scores in dominant Spain win over Portugal at U21 Euros

Malaga striker Sandro Ramirez, a summer target for Everton, was on the scoresheet as Spain U21 defeated Portugal 3-1 in the group stage of the U21 European Championships in Poland.

The win ensured Spain's qualification to the last-four of the tournament as the Group B winners due to their superior head-to-head record against Portugal.

Atletico Madrid midfielder Saul Niguez opened the scoring through a deflected shot in the 21st minute. Sandro doubled the lead from Gerard Deulofeu's cross in the 64th-minute.

Bruma scored a stunning volley on the 77th minute to pull one back for Portugal, but the result was put beyond doubt by Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams in the injury-time of the game.
