Everton are interested in signing Germany international left-back Marvin Plattenhardt, according to Sky Sports.

The 26-year-old is part of Germany's World Cup squad and has six caps.

Plattenhardt currently plays for Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin and made 33 appearances last season, scoring once.
