Everton taking cautious approach with Stones and Coleman

Everton boss Roberto Martinez says he will not rush back injured duo Seamus Coleman and John Stones for Sunday's Merseyside derby.

Martinez said he will only play Coleman (hamstring) and Stones (knee) if the pair are fully fit to face crosstown rivals Liverpool.

"John and Seamus both wanted to be available, but we had to be cautious," Martinez said.

"I hope to have two or three bodies back for the weekend."

Toffees full-back Leighton Baines is no chance of taking part in the fixture, with the England international ruled out until November.
