Everton have made an offer to Napoli midfielder Allan.
The Liverpool Echo reports Everton have made the 'most important' offer for Napoli midfielder Allan but the Serie A club are 'stalling', according to latest reports in Italy.
The Blues have been repeatedly linked with a move for the 29-year-old Brazilian through the summer and Rai Sport journalist Pablo Paganini says Everton have made the most significant attempt to secure him so far, although may face disappointment in their efforts.
Allan is a player Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti knows well from his spell in charge at the Stadio San Paulo.
Paganini revealed on Radio Kiss Kiss: "As far as Allan is concerned, the most important offer came from Everton, but Napoli is stalling not to undersell him."
