Everton have lost midfield pair Abdoulaye Doucoure and Fabian Delph to injury.
Doucoure was forced off in the 65th minute of the Toffees 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa at Goodison Park last Saturday.
The club confirmed that the 29-year-old underwent tests following the game which revealed he had sustained a groin injury and will require a period of rehabilitation for a minimum of four weeks.
Delph has also been sidelined after picking up a thigh injury during training this week which will also rule him out for at least four weeks.
Everton are continuing their search for a new managers after the dismissal of Rafa Benitez earlier this month.
