Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has already declared he wants to stay at Leicester City.
Yakubu scored on his home league debut in victory over Millwall after arriving on loan from Everton.
Foxes boss Sven Goran Eriksson said: "Yakubu is real class and takes a shot so quickly and goalkeepers are always going to have real difficulties with that. He will do very good for us."
Yakubu sees his future at the Walkers Stadium. The striker said: "I want to stay and win promotion. If we can reach the play-offs then we have a real chance."
