Everton striker Richarlison has launched a furious attack on Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher after helping the Blues secure Premier League safety.

The Brazilian played a key role in helping the Toffees avoid Premier League relegation with a stunning comeback win against Crystal Palace on Thursday night, and hours later he took to Twitter to slam boyhood Evertonian Carragher.

After the elation of Everton's survival, Richarlison went online in the early hours of Friday morning.

"Wash your mouth before you talk about me and Everton and I don't respect you," he snapped at Carragher at 1.37am, accompanying the message with an emoji.

On Friday morning, responded to the 25-year-old's tweet - stating his admiration for the clap back.

"I actually quite like this, if Twitter was about when I was a player I'm sure I would've called pundits out quite a lot!!" he wrote.
