Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin is in line for a first England call.
The Mirror says Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate names a squad next Thursday for this month's friendlies with Holland and Italy.
And Southgate is mulling over including 20-year-old Calvert-Lewin, who can play in several attacking positions and has come up through the Under-20 and U21 ranks.
He truly won the U20s World Cup for England last summer, scoring the only goal in the final against Venezuela.
FA chiefs are keen to encourage progress up the ranks in the international set-up, and Calvert-Lewin could be set for a senior call-up after eight club goals this term.
