Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin admits he's eager to be capped by England.

“It kind of felt like the stars were aligning a little bit and the opportunity [to play for England] might be there for the taking," said Calvert-Lewin.

“I was well aware of what was around the corner and like any young kid, young footballer, you dream of playing for your country. That is my next step.

“But circumstances have changed, therefore your goalposts change.

“In terms of England, I have to refocus and continue what I am doing for Everton. The rest takes care of itself."
