Everton step closer to landing Hertha Berlin striker Muhammad Kiprit

Everton are chasing Hertha Berlin striker Muhammad Kiprit.

Kicker says Everton have been watching the Turkey U19 international this season and are preparing a January move.

Everton chief Steve Walsh has had Kiprit scouted regularly as the youngster delays committing to a pro deal.

They're now ready to firm up their pursuit with manager Sam Allardyce's appointment confirmed.

Michael Preetz, the club's sporting director, a fortnight ago remarked: "We are in talks with him and his advisor, as is commonplace today, as we have the common future beyond the season, which will ideally also lead to professional football."
