Romelu Lukaku has revealed the major factor that led him to staying put with the Everton Football Club.
The Belgian striker was the subject of plenty of interest over the summer from massive clubs including his former club Chelsea, Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich and Arsenal.
However, the 23-year-old remained at Goodison Park and told Thierry Henry that the arrival of Ronald Koeman persuaded him to forego a big-money transfer elsewhere.
In a one-on-one interview with the Gunners great on Sky Sports, Lukaku said: "I was really close, but I had a moment of reflection - for a week in pre-season - to see how the manager works and see what he (Koeman) sees in me as a player.
"I'm young and there are aspects of my game I need to improve.
"He worked with me on it from day one and I was convinced he was a man that can have a big influence on my future."
