Everton have offered a one-year contract extension to Leighton Baines.

The 35-year-old's current contract was due to expire at the end of this month.

Sky Sports says the Toffees want to keep their veteran left-back for another year.

Baines has played over 400 times for the club, good for 13th on their all-time appearance list.

He joined the Merseyside club from Wigan in 2007 for £6m.
