Everton skipper Neville: Man Utd's Gary first to congratulate me

Everton captain Phil Neville revealed his brother Gary was the first to speak to him after their FA Cup victory over Manchester United.

"He was the first one to speak to me after the game and he was pleased for me," he told evertonTV. "It's difficult in situations like that because obviously he's captain of Manchester United and I'm captain of Everton - and we both want our clubs to win.

"But he's my brother and my best friend at the end of the day and it was nice to see him after the game. I'm just glad it was Everton's day."

"I've been lucky enough to play in some wonderful games and that was up there with them," said the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League winning midfielder. "But the realisation now is that we haven't won anything yet."
