Everton have received a fitness boost from summer signing Yerry Mina.

James McCarthy, Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes all featured in a behind-closed-door match at Finch Farm on Thursday.

The Liverpool Echo says Mina has yet to make his Blues debut despite joining from Barcelona on deadline day in August.

His comeback from an existing foot injury suffered a set-back recently when he suffered bruising on his other foot after being stood on by Bernard during a training session.

But Mina is understood to have reported no issues at the end of the hour long training game at Finch Farm which was made up of first-teamers and players from the under-23s.
