Everton signing James Rodriguez insists he has come to the club to challenge for and win trophies.
The Colombian arrived from Real Madrid in a big money deal this week.
It is in no small part due to manager Carlo Ancelotti, who worked with Rodriguez at Madrid.
And the attacking midfielder hopes the two can win silverware for the Toffees in the coming years.
"I've come here to this top club to achieve big things," he told reporters ahead of the new Premier League season.
"I think the club means business.
"A club that's serious about wanting good things to happen. It's got a lot of history and is a big name. I'm here to do well and I think we're able to do that together.
"There's a lot of serious-minded people in the club at all levels who are determined to achieve, and that will mean winning trophies.
"It won't happen overnight – it's a long-term project. But I've seen signs we can make progress. Trophies are definitely more than a possibility."
