Everton are keeping a watchful eye on Morecambe left-back sensation Connor Pye.

That is according to Football Insider, who claim that the Toffees are very keen on the 17-year-old.

The defender, who has been likened to Andy Robertson of Liverpool, was man of the match in a recent EFL Trophy game for Morecambe against Hartlepool.

Everton scouts are assessing the teenager with a view to a possible summer move.

Pye has been with League One outfit Morecambe since he arrived from Wigan Athletic in 2020.
