Everton's French scout Michel Rablat can't see Premier League clubs moving for Florian Thauvin.

The France international, now with Olympique Marseille, had an ill-fated spell in England with Newcastle United, though has since rebuilt his career in Ligue 1.

Rablat told L'Equipe: "There is not unanimous agreement in England. He does not have a good press.

"I can confirm that he had no offers this summer from the Premier League. It does not surprise me.

"English recruiters find that he is not decisive in the big matches.

"(Kevin) De Bruyne and (Mohamed) Salah failed to break into England at first, but it was Chelsea and not Newcastle."
