Everton have joined the interest for Southampton midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is keen to take the Dane to London for next season, though it's emerged Everton are also keen.
For his part, Hojbjerg has stated an admiration for Spurs amid talk that he is resisting new contract talks with Saints.
Late last year he split from his former agent and signed with Pini Zahavi.
"It's a big club and I also think Christian Eriksen has positive memories from there," Hojbjerg told Viaplay Sport Live when asked about the interest from Spurs.
“The most important thing is that I concentrate on Southampton and concentrate when the season starts again, I can continue where I left off. Whatever happens in the future, you have to take it as it comes."
