Everton are joining the battle for Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar.

La Nazione says Babacar remains very much on the Blues' wishlist.

The trouble is, the Fiorentina frontman is a man very much in demand. The Senegal international was a £15m target for Crystal Palace, who were confident of concluding a deal.

But Everton are ready to scupper that move, with Sam Allardyce still not content with his forward options despite the signings of Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun.
