Everton are eyeing Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana.

The Daily Star says Everton are set to rival Arsenal for Lallana ahead of the summer transfer window.

Lallana's contract runs out at the end of the season and although the Reds still have the option to extend his stay for another year they are unlikely to take it up.

Therefore, Lallana has become quite a sought-after transfer target with the absence of an asking price amid the financial turmoil caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

Arsenal are said to be keeping tabs on the attacking midfielder as they are likely to face a major shortage of fees if they fail to qualify for either the Champions League or Europa League next season.
