Former Everton trainee David Carney missed out on a return to the Premier League yesterday.
The FC Twente reserve left-back was in talks with Blackpool, but a deal could not be struck.
Australia international Carney joined Twente last summer from Sheffield United, but has failed to nail down a regular first team place.
