Everton are readying a bid for St Etienne striker Denis Bouanga.

But! reports the offer is being driven by Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti, who knows all about Bouanga thanks to his time in charge of PSG.

Ancelotti has pushed Everton to move for the striker and a bid is now being prepared.

For their part, ASSE are reluctant to lose Bouanga and are even drawing up new contract terms for his consideration.

Just last week, Bouanga's younger brother Didi said: "Obviously, he dreams of playing the World Cup with our country, Gabon.

"But he also dreams of playing in the Champions League. I told him it's time, he has to go to a club that plays the Champions League.
