Everton are ramping up their pursuit to sign Marseille custodian Steve Mandanda, according to reports from L'Equipe.

Everton are planning to sign a new goalkeeper this summer following the departure of veteran Tim Howard and recent reports have claimed that the Toffees have identified Marseille star Mandanda as a target.

Now L'Equipe report that the Toffees have already placed an offer for France international Mandanda, who is set to become a free agent in the summer, and the 31-year-old is also said to be eyeing a move to Goodison Park.
